lfm software package provides simple but powerful file manager for the UNIX console, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install lfm
lfm is installed in your system.
Make ensure the lfm package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep lfm *
You will get with lfm package name, version, architecture and description in a table
